Quinta Sur

A cool, minimalist house in the Tropics could be the cure for a season in the doldrums. Constructed in spare, clean lines with an absence of falderol, Quinta Sur treats space as a natural element which enhances this unusual structure. A pair of Terraces hold the inner space around the L-shaped residence: A "Back" Terrace with a fountain and Bocce Court, and a Luncheon Terrace for al fresco dining. The effect of these green spaces is relief and relaxation. A large modern kitchen, an elegant Dining Room and an inviting Library with audio center share the main floor with a Master Bedroom suite and its dressing rooms, Jacuzzi, shower and bath. A large Salon with fireplace for a rare chilly breeze occupies the remainder of the ground level. An outdoor Terrace beyond the Dining Room joins the Master Bedroom suite for breakfast al fresco, or a midnight cocktail. Two Guest Rooms and baths are upstairs.
